What it does
Fetches a page on demand when a Claude user's request requires reading it. Human-triggered live retrieval rather than bulk crawling.
How Forge AI Bot Log checks it
Visits are checked against the IP ranges Anthropic publishes, so a spoofed Claude-User is labelled as such.
Should you block it?
Allow it if you want Claude to read and cite your pages when people ask. Blocking Claude-User takes one switch in Forge AI Bot Log's Access Control screen. The plugin adds the rule to your robots.txt for you.
